This podcast is dedicated to Cathy Alex who passed away in January 2026.
When we taped our first two podcast episodes in September 2025, we thought it was the beginning of a wonderful journey together. We had first met at the local CBC radio station and reunited again behind the microphones for this podcast 30 years later.
Cathy loved BIG. She loved the outdoors, swimming, family, friends, singing, laughing, animals, bold earrings and stories. It’s my honour to call her a friend and a mentor. I’m so grateful we were able to record a few episodes of Older & Wiser together. Make time for the things that matter – try to have a little fun everyday – eat ice cream and tell stories!
